All the electronics were hidden in Technology Room. 32 Music Zones throughout the home and outside areas. Dedicated Theater with 4 Media rooms. 53 Shades, 653 Lighting zones, Pool & Fountains, and 12 Zones of Temperature Control. Security and Surveillance system. All Simplified with a Smart app to control the home whether home or away.

We have completed and now enjoying our new home in Scottsdale. Desert Sound & Security was selected to do all the electronics in our home. They performed all the complicated tasks with great professionalism and stayed with the project until everything was working perfectly. This Directors Theater was built by Salcito Custom Homes with Interior Design by Studio One. Architecture by Swaback Partners. Desert Sound was engaged to Design, Install and Automate the room.

A top-end home theater is as much about controlling the sound as it is about reproducing the soundtrack the way the director intended. In this premium screening room, Desert Sound outsourced acoustical design to Reiley Sound.

The room-within-a-room design started at construction. The floor, ceiling and walls were decoupled from the concrete for full sound isolation.

The extensive acoustic treatments help the speakers and subwoofers sound their very best.

The University of Phoenix was seeking to create a new approach to learning and enrollment — allowing for student interaction, collaboration and teaching utilizing advanced technology to create “a classroom without boundaries.”

From the Technology Room there are 153 audio video sources distributed to 4 Collaboration Rooms, Student Resource Center, Briefing Room which include 63 Televisions, 9 Video Conference Systems, Lutron Lighting and Shade System.

The campus brings together a mixture of technology, design and classroom instruction. Desert Sound designed, installed Audio/Video, Network, Lighting and Shades systems into one of the largest Savant Systems.

Students are able collaborate in the classrooms, it might be through a laptop that they can plug into the wall. The rooms feature plug-ins for an assortment of electronic devices, such as laptop computers, iPhones and thumb drives that connect to large monitors mounted on the walls.

Students can communicate remotely telepresence. This allows them to interact as if they were in classroom.

We engaged Desert Sound & Security and Savant Systems to provide control and automation functionality. Our faculty and students can exhibit their work by connecting their personal electronic devices to classroom systems and displays, dramatically increasing the impact and relevance of the subject matter being taught all through the Savant Systems and Desert Sounds simple user interface.
